The PHFI Foundation Day lecture “Environment, Climate and Health: An Expanded Public Health Research and Policy Agenda for the 21st Century” was delivered by Professor Anthony J McMichael, NHMRC Australia Fellow at the National Centre for Epidemiology and Population Health, The Australian National University, Canberra.
Dr. McMichael was previously Professor of Epidemiology at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, 1994-2001. From 1993-2007 he played a central role in the scientific work of the UN’s Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) assessment of health impacts.
